Cabinet painting is closer to furniture finishing than wall painting. Doors and drawers come off and get labeled, everything is degreased and sanded, and a bonding primer goes on so the final coats grip for good. The finish is applied in thin, even layers for a smooth, hard-wearing surface.
A typical kitchen keeps working while we do it: the boxes are finished on site while the doors cure. When it all goes back together you get the hardware reinstalled, fresh color inside the openings, and a kitchen that reads brand new without a remodel.
